HSIUNG is an art practice and queer cultural platform exploring the body, desire, identity and intimacy through jewellery, image, performance, publication and exhibition-making. We create objects and projects that give form to what is often left unspoken, while supporting artists whose work engages with queer experience, diasporic memory, bodily presence and alternative forms of kinship.

HSIUNG began from the founder’s East Asian upbringing, where desire, sexuality and identity were often subdued, coded or left unnamed. Rather than treating jewellery as decoration alone, HSIUNG approaches objects as intimate carriers of meaning: body-based forms that can hold memory, longing, shame, pride and recognition. Through sculptural jewellery and visual projects, the practice transforms hidden languages of desire into something that can be worn, seen and claimed.

Alongside its own objects and images, HSIUNG is developing as a platform for queer artists and communities. Through exhibitions, collaborations, editions, publications and artist-led projects, HSIUNG aims to create space for work that is intimate, experimental and critically engaged, without reducing artists to identity alone. It is a place for shared desire, cultural displacement, bodily expression and collective imagination.

Material & Substantial

While HSIUNG operates as an artistic practice, our jewellery remains inherently wearable, durable, and valuable. Each piece is meticulously handcrafted and produced in the UK, ensuring both quality and craftsmanship.

We are committed to responsible material sourcing and sustainable production. Where possible, we utilise recycled silver to minimise environmental impact. In cases where recycled materials are not viable, we adopt production methods that reduce the consumption of natural resources, aligning with our dedication to ethical and conscious design.
